Timing of the School Day

From September 2019

From September 2019 Alleyne's Academy is changing the times for the school day.

Currently students need to arrive at school by 8.45am for a prompt start at 8.55am in registration. The school day finishes at 3.25pm

 

From September 2019, school will start at 8.50am with Lesson 1.  Students will need to arrive at school by 8.40am.  Registration marks will be given during the first few minutes of Lesson 1. The end of the school day will be 3.10pm

 

Timings Of The School Day 2018-19

 

There will be no changes to the start and end times for the day so that students should arrive at 8.55am and will finish at 3.25pm.  Breakfast is available from 8.30am.

Due to increased numbers of students next academic year, however, there is a slight change to the lunch arrangements

Second Registration

1:25 - 2:00                                                           Lunch
 

2:00 - 2:05                                                           Registration in tutor room
 

2.05 - 2.25                                                           Tutor time/Assembly
 

 

First Registration

1:25 – 1.30                                                          Registration in tutor room
 

1.30 – 1.45                                                          Tutor time/Assembly
 

1.45 - 2.25                                                           Lunch

 

Half Term 1:        Year 9 and Year 11 on second registration; Year 10 and Sixth Form on first registration

Half Term 2:        Year 9 and Year 11 on first registration; Year 10 and Sixth Form on second registration

Half Term 3:        Year 9 and Year 11 on second registration; Year 10 and Sixth Form on first registration

Half Term 4:        Year 9 and Year 11 on first registration; Year 10 and Sixth Form on second registration

Half Term 5:        Year 9 and Year 11 on second registration; Year 10 and Sixth Form on first registration

Half Term 6:        Year 9 on first registration; Year 10 and Year 12 on second registration
