Nationally accredited by the Quality in Careers Standard as fully meeting all the accreditation criteria incorporating the Gatsby Benchmarks
We want every person, no matter what their background, to be able to build a rewarding career. We closely monitor the destinations that our students take Post 16 and are very pleased to be able to say that last year we had 100% participation and every student went into either employment, education or training. At Alleyne’s we aim to develop a culture of having the right advice, in the right place, at the right time-backed up by the experiences with employers and educators that make a difference.
To achieve this, we link our provision to the Gatsby Benchmarks as set out in the new statutory guidance. ('Careers strategy: making the most of everyone's skills and talent' 2017)
Careers advice is provided in school by Janet Kemp from Entrust. If an appointment is required please make request / referral via Ms Justice, form tutors or email: janet.kemp@entrust-ed.co.uk

A number of opportunities will be planned into the careers programme to enable providers to come into school and speak with students, parents and carers.
Contact must initially be made to the Career Leader m.justice@alleynes.staffs.sch.uk who will arrange for an application form to be provided. On completion, the form should be returned and will be processed within 10 working days (term time only).
All reasonable requests for access will be granted subject to students being available e.g. not being involved in exams or out of school activities.
Requests which do not give reasonable time to make arrangements or that require the school to go to excessive expense may not be granted.
Alleyne's Academy's above average attainment equips students well for the Stafford Borough job market which is above national averages for NVQ level 3 or above, with many of our students going on to University or level 3 + apprenticeships.
The Medicspot Innovation Grant awards £500 to UK students going on to study a degree related to health, medicine, nursing or life sciences. Applications must be submitted online by 31 March each year. More information can be found at www.medicspot.co.uk/grant
