We have an exciting opportunity to share; we have recently teamed with African Adventures (africanadventures.co.uk) to give students a once in a lifetime experience!
We will be offering students a unique opportunity to volunteer in Kenya – and we invite students from current Y9, Y10 and Y11 to join us! This trip will take place in January 2028, therefore students in current Y10 and Y11 must be planning on continuing their studies at Alleyne's 6th Form.
Students have the opportunity to make a real difference by volunteering at one of the partner schools, where they can help teach in lessons, coach sports, or build new classrooms. Away from volunteering, they will have the opportunity to discover everything that Kenya has to offer on the Nairobi Wildlife Day and Taste of Kenya Day.
It is possible to raise over half the trip funds (or more!) via fundraising, which can be done as a group or individually; this is something we would be keen to see our students get involved in and organise.
