The transition days for students will be on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th June 2026.

Thanks to those parents / carers who have already purchased a mobile phone pouch; for those who have not already done so, the details are below:

Pouches may be purchased:

by bringing cash to Alleyne's reception during school hours
via ParentPay thourgh the middle schools
by bank transfer (please eMail a.jones@alleynes.staffs.sch.uk who will provide transfer details and take a note of the order)

Why Have We Become a Phone-Free School?

Starting from September 2026 Alleyne's Academy will be a mobile free school.

Timings of the School Day

We run our transition days in line with the timings of the normal school day. Various welcome meetings / meet and greet sessions / site familiarisation will take the place of a few of the regular lesson slots, with specifics to be confirmed.

Timings are as follows:

08:45 am Students expected to be on site

08:45 am Morning registration

09:15 am Period 1 lessons begin

10:15 am Period 2 lessons geing

11:15 am Morning break

11:35 am Period 3 lessons begin

12:35 pm Period 4 lessons begin

1:35 pm Lunch break begins (a special lunch sitting for Year 8 students will be arranged so that they do not feel rushed on the transition days)

2:15 pm Period 5 lessons begin

3:05 pm Lessons finish / home time (please note that the normal school day finishes at 3:15 pm - the early finish is for Year 8 students on the transition days only)
