Sixth Form Dress Code

Sixth Form Dress Code – 2020 / 2021

Alleyne’s Sixth Formers are regarded as role models to the younger students lower down the school and their standard of dress is an important part of the culture of the School.

Students in the Sixth Form are expected to wear smart, formal business wear clothing of their own choice. It must be clothing that would be worn in a professional or managerial environment.

  • Suit or shirt and tie with formal trousers.
  • Skirt or full length trousers with a suitable blouse.

The emphasis is very much on business dress and preparing our students for a career outside of school.

What must not be worn:

  • No shorts, leggings, hoodies, sweatshirts, denim or leather;
  • No tops with thin shoulder straps or excessively revealing clothes;
  • No clothing with logos, motifs or inappropriate language;
  • No flip flops, Converse, Vans style pumps or Doc Marten style boots;
  • No facial piercings or extremes of fashion, e.g. clothing, hair and/or adornments

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact either Mr Haydon (Head of Sixth Form) or Mr Tweats (Deputy Head).
